When you have to decide if it’s worth putting a bra on to run to the kitchen and back.  It’s weighing up the effort vs. potential embarrassment on both sides if flatmates boyfriend is in there.

Katie just came back while Chesney was singing “Let it Be” to the baby. I am crying. Alone in my room. At Coronation Street.

(734): It was awful. Mid hookup he started reading the titles of the books over my bed, which were about Russian imperial history. He then started asking me questions about the class I was reading the books for. I was like “WE HAVE TIME FOR THAT LATER, PLEASE CONTINUE.”

Actually, I really like my flatmates boyfriend so...
They were eating while I was cooking (and by cooking I mean putting my pizza in the oven) and then when I left them I said “I shall leave you now and eat pizza, drink wine and watch Coronation Street in my room and live a lovely single life.” We lol’ed.

Now that is interesting, because my mum always says it’s the only thing she won’t drink.  I feel like it’s a risk to try new types of alcohol because you either have to commit to a bottle in a supermarket or a glass in a pub and if you don’t like...

So I’m watching Coronation Street (everyone shut up NOW it’s brilliant that’s why it’s been going on for FIFTY ONE YEARS) and Audrey’s drinking rum. I’ve never had rum.  Is it something I’m missing out on?  What do you mix it with?  Is it expensive compared to other spirits?  Is it grape or grain?

I feel properly low this morning because it is one of my best, oldest friends birthday’s and I can’t be there with her to celebrate.  Also, it’s worse because I know most of my other friends are, because they all uni up North and it’s cheap to get from place to place. I, on the other hand, would have to pay a good £50 (which I really don’t have) and because of other...

I think one of my favourite things about uni (and something I am STILL getting used to after FIVE MONTHS) is that I have no-one to answer to.  I make all my own decisions.  Like, tonight me and Judith were walking home from Monstrous Regiment (a play) and I was like “I fancy another drink, shall we go to the pub?”.  So we just went to the Woodville.  I made that decision by myself and...

So, I ended up going last night.
And yet again somehow “one drink” because “I’m really tired and have a lot of work to do” turned into 3 and a half double gins, getting kicked out at closing time and Welsh Club (which, in fairness, I abandoned in the queue because I really was too drunk to pay to go in just to leave within the first half hour). I really do love uni.
